Brad Pitt has been cleared after an examination concerning whether he carried on harshly toward one of his youngsters, US media has reported. 

The cases focused on a claimed episode with his 15 year old child Maddox in September on a flight from France. 

Pitt's significant other Angelina Jolie had said that Pitt deliberately hit his child, without support, on the plane, the VIP site TMZ reported. 

Social laborers met the couple, their youngsters and witnesses who were on the plane, TMZ said. 

The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services finished up Wednesday that Pitt, 52, did not act harshly, USA Today and CNN reported, citing a source that had seen the office's report. 

Jolie, 41, petitioned for separation in September, refering to beyond reconciliation contrasts. She is looking for sole care of their six kids. 

Pitt is looking for joint lawful and physical care. 

The A-listers - given the big name moniker "Brangelina" - marry in France two years back, yet had been a couple since 2004.
